Beth Szweda, Founder

While attending Indiana University South Bend, Beth launched her career serving as a Deputy Assessor.  She served the taxpayers of St. Joseph County for 10 years rising to the position of Chief Deputy Assessor.  While there, she worked hard and earned her Level II Indiana Assessor/Appraiser Certification.  She went on to become one of the first people in the state to earn the newly implemented Level III Indiana Assessor/Appraiser Certification .

Beth later went on to work in the private sector where she worked as a tax consultant for a large consulting firm. Within her first two years there, she saved the firm's clients over $1 million in tax dollars. She realized she not only had a knack for saving people money, she had a passion for it.

In 2009 Beth launched Correct Property Tax LLC which enabled her to serve the needs of all Indiana property owners.  Correct Property Tax offers services to not only larger commercial and industrial properties but also small, underserved commercial and residential property owners.

Over the years, Beth has filed and won property tax appeals for hundreds of properties, saving Indiana taxpayers thousands of dollars. Throughout her career, she has worked with a diverse selection of clients. Her success derives from commitment to continuing education and a genuine desire to help people save money and serve our community.

Beth also is a founding member and sits on the Board of Directors of Recover Michiana Fest. RMF is focused on bringing resources and support to individuals and families struggling with substance abuse.  Beth is the mother of daughter Jillian and son Joe.  Together they created The Szweda Scholarship for graduating seniors who have lost a parent to substance abuse disorder.

In her spare time she enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening, and traveling with her family.
